Bringing the peace and power of yoga to youth everywhere

 Host a Fundraiser

On Behalf of Vinyasa Yoga for Youth

How can you and your community help?

Each year, Vinyasa Yoga for Youth relies on fundraising to sustain the work that we do with youth. We have been fortunate to have a supportive community working alongside us to obtain our funding goals.

Some people work as individuals, using their unique special skills:

  • Donating proceeds from their small business sales

  • Hosting a Yoga workshop or class

  • Applying for grants

Others work as a team to host larger events:

  • Yoga studio hosting a karma class

  • Catered dinner event

  • Silent auction

There has been a wide range of ways that we have seen our community raise funds for VYFY and to each and every one of them we are thankful!!

If you would like to request a marketing package (images/logo) to support your VYFY fundraiser, please contact us.

ABOUT US

Vinyasa Yoga for Youth (VYFY) is a registered non-profIt that was founded in 2008 by Ryan Leier and Kristine Divall. Our goal is to build meaningful connections with youth through the practice of yoga. Our programs engage youth in a fun way and aim to foster self-awareness, encourage an enhanced capacity for compassion, and promote healthy living choices for themselves and their community.

We currently connect with almost 4000 children in the city of Saskatoon and have trained over 220 specialized Yoga for Youth instructors. Just recently we have expanded into British Columbia with teachers in Kamloops, Victoria, Vancouver and Golden.
