Bio:

An Anishinaabekwe/ Metis Mama, Yogi, Indigenous Activist, RMT, children’s Author and Illustrator and recipient of Cooperative Youth Leadership award. Her driving force in life is to help create a better world for her son and for the next 7 generations. Through her work she hopes to inspire youth to ”mino-bimaaduziwin” or “live the good life” by taking care of themselves, to have the capacity to care for one another, so we can all work together to care for Mother Earth just as she takes care of us. Resides in Secwepmec territory, but is claimed by Gamber First Nation in Treaty 4.

Though she resides in Salmon Arm bc, she will travel to Kamloops bc, Kelowna bc, Victoria bc, Brandon mb and Winnipeg mb.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

4 years experience in Program Management at non-denominational summer camp (camp Wannakumbac) and 2 years working with high performance youth athletes at Sport Manitoba
