VYFY is a Here To Be non-profit partner.
Here to Be is Lululemon’s global community-based well-being program providing resources to non-profit partners who use yoga and meditation as a means to manage stress and trauma.
We invite anyone from our partner communities or remote, underserved northern communities, that would like to bring yoga to the youth they work with, to apply for a scholarship.
How it works:
Our scholarships are meant to make our training accessible to people who would otherwise not be able to attend. The amount is based on two things; how many people apply, and if applicants are currently working with underserved communities.
Types of scholarships
Sustainer: No scholarship needed
Community A: 25% scholarship
Community B: 50% scholarship
SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA
Sustainer:
This price reflects the full value of the course, paying at this rate helps support the longevity of our programming.
-For folks with sufficient access to spending money.
-For folks who may not already be working with youth.
-For folks who have NOT had a significant financial set-back due to COVID-19.
Community A:
This price reflects the full value of the course with support of a 25% scholarship
-For folks with moderate access to spending money.
-For folks who may already be working with youth.
-For folks who have had a financial set-back due to COVID-19.
Community B:
This price reflects the full value of the course with support of a 50% scholarship
-For folks with limited access to spending money.
-For folks who may already be working with youth in remote + underserved communities
-For folks who HAVE had a significant financial set-back due to COVID-19 and, at the time of the course, will be on government support.
-For youth who have experienced the benefits of Yoga and are looking to further their self practice.
*Travel, accommodation and food are not included
** 100% Attendance is required when using a scholarship
